It's been a hard time in our country these last two weeks. Our hearts go out to the family of George Floyd and all his loved ones.
What can one say in a time of national pain? We fear we are ill equipped in this regard so we turn to Toni Morrison, an American author who knew a thing or two about pain, suffering and healing.
“The function of freedom is to free someone else.”
While the past cannot be changed, we hope that the present turmoil leads to positive change and a better, more caring world in the years to come.
