Privacy at Elf

At Elf, we take security and privacy seriously. We prioritize privacy. Protecting privacy been a top priority of our decision-making process throughout our company and in the work we do with our clients. We come from the point of view of the end user, the customer always. We do this because we care, not because we have to. It is just the right thing to do.

We also periodically update our Privacy Policy to stay current with new consumer protection laws such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We work with companies (Mailchimp, Inmotionhosting and others) who follow and maintain stringent certification standards for the Department of Commerce's US/EU and US/Swiss Safe Harbor Frameworks.

If you subscribe to our event newsletters or part of any mailing lists previously, you do not need to take any action to stay current. You can always unsubscribe at any time. Choice Matters

Choice matters. It's also part of providing an excellent experience. Customers want the option to choose who they receive marketing and advertising from, when and how often. This choice truly pertains to any advertising or marketing you receive as a customer. 

In many ways, it is like shopping. Consumers are far more intelligent and perceptive than the advertising and marketing they have been forced to receive for many years. When you give them better options, they are eager to take them. No one wants their privacy or confidentiality stolen or to be spammed by advertisers.

Adopting GDPR may be difficult for companies that have not prioritized privacy before. However, when all is said and done, your customers and subscribers have chosen to opt in versus opt out. That's consumer freedom.

Having Integrity

We are cognizant of this and follow this at Elf and in our work with clients. Ultimately, we believe that companies that pay attention and respect the privacy of individual consumers, that do not sell your data and are transparent, will succeed over the long-term because they have chosen to act with integrity and to value their customers.

Integrity and Work Experience

We’re a small agency. In fact, our core creative group consists of less than 10 people. We’re very happy and thankful to be doing work we love. We also look forward to growing our company especially in the upcoming year and beyond.

On occasion, we work with a team of up to 25 additional people on specific projects. We bring them in to add a specific element we are looking for - to take our projects to the next level by adding a new perspective. This can range from videography and photography on site to illustration and audio scoring and editing. These are highly specialized and extremely talented, experienced contractors that we have chosen for specific projects only. 

Down the road, we are looking to grow our agency and bring in some of these contractors we've worked with, full time into Elf. We're excited about what the future holds and all that we can build together!

We remain however a small, nimble agency. We do not outsource our primary work - this ranges from design and writing to software coding, product design and digital marketing.

We care greatly about doing work we’re proud of. We go the extra mile to do that. That’s plain and simple hard work. It’s not outsourced. We always maintain a high standard. 

Integrity is not something we compromise on. It's a foundational principle at Elf and in all work that we do.

Our company is small. We know every contractor we have worked with very well and continue to work with most of them on ad hoc projects.

Integrity is essential. We are highly selective in the people we hire not only for the quality of their portfolio or prior experience, but most importantly, in the caliber of individual.

We highly encourage you to call us to verify anyone who claims to have worked at Elf or attempts to take credit for work we have done. 

It has come to our attention quite frequently in the last year as our company continues to grow that there are people claiming to have worked at Elf that never have. This can range from false profiles to LinkedIn to other employment sites.
